October 1, 2004, I bought a pile of EXT for pennies on the dollar.  My only intention was to fix it and sell it at profit.

1995 Arctic Cat EXT 580 EFI  (some assembly/repair required):

I got most of two skidframes, a track, boxes of parts, and a mostly complete chassis/engine/etc.

Basically I just fixed what needed fixing and replaced what needed replacing.  For example, the left side had taken a hit, so the a-arms were bent:
Luckily, the bulkhead was still nice and straight.

I repainted all the suspension components (here are some, ready for paint):

I also prepped the exhaust for a coating of my secret Rust-oleum High-Heat BBQ paint:

As long as I had the parts apart, I decided to try some Mother's Aluminum Polish on the steering drag link and skid rails.
Here's the before & after polishing pics, for comparison:

At one point I had the sled pretty well stripped down:

The hood was in good shape, but I stripped off some of the decaling to give it a bit of a custom look, so it went from this:

to this:

So, the sled went from the pile of parts at the top of the page to this (in less than 8 weeks):

What follows is my sales page that I linked to from eBay when I posted the sled and sold it there.  It outlines many of the repairs and new parts.  Click:  SALES PAGE
